One way to partner with a company is to look for professional companies that are working with our targeted prospects. Any professional business to business companies are good partners. Our own clients and past clients are great partners.

Consistently generating referrals is a gold mine for expanding your business. Referrals are easier to sell to and they make a better, loyal customer or client. But as in a real gold mine, we must mine the referrals, not just passively wait to see if anyone refers our service.

Three Steps to Success.
1. What is your average customer's "life value"?
Notes: A customer that repeatedly uses our services and continues to use them for many years increase the "life value". Do not use one sale as the value of a customer.

2. What are you willing to spend for one customer?
Notes: If your gross profit on a customer is $2,500.00 on a $5,000.00 sale or contract, what can we spend to acquire that customer? Assumes 50% gross profit.

3. What is your R.O.I. (return on investment)?
Notes: If we spent $100.00 to acquire that customer, our ROI is 25 (25x100=$2500)
That is a good investment. On a $10K profit project it is 50 (50x100=$5,000).
